Способ электрохимической обработки секционным электродом-инструментом, состоящим из нескольких электрически изолированных друг от друга токопроводящих секций, в совокупности представляющих собой пространственно-сложную поверхность, в значительной степени соответствующую по форме готовой поверхности детали, включающий взаимное позиционирование электрода-инструмента и электрода-заготовки, подачу электролита в межэлектродный промежуток, сближение электрода-инструмента и электрода-заготовки, подачу тока на электрод-заготовку и отдельно на каждую секцию электрода-инструмента, отличающийся тем, что электроду-заготовке и/или электроду-инструменту сообщают колебательное движение в плоскости, пересекающейся с направлением подачи, а обработку ведут от импульсного источника питания, при этом на электрод-заготовку и на отдельно каждую секцию электрода-инструмента подают импульсы и/или группы импульсов напряжения или тока, амплитудные значения которых пропорциональны значению модуля относительной скорости колебательного движения.1.
