The mass-exchange apparatus contains a housing 1 with inlet 2 and outlet 3 nozzles, a contact element in the form of vertical pipes 5 fastened on the partition 4 with spiral inserts b, a chamber 7 in the middle of the contact element, an irrigation device in the form of tubes 8, passed along the axis of the spiral insert and connected to - a lecturer 9 with an inlet 10. The coils of the spiral insert 6 are hollow with perforated walls 11. The cavity of 12 coils is connected to the tubes 8 of the sprinkler through the holes 13. The chamber 7 is installed as a unit for all pipes 5. It it is clear that the wall of each pipe 5 under the chamber 7 was hollow, provided on the outside with holes for the suction of partially spent liquid 14, located at the level of the partition 4, and with the inside, with vertical slots 15 with flanging 16 on the movement side swirling gas flow. It is also advisable that the chamber 7 be provided with jack cones 17, each of which is mounted above the pipe 5 and provided with a collection tray around the perimeter of the cone in its peripheral part. The tray 18 is equipped with a drain tube 19. lowered to the bottom of the chamber 7, the Pipe 2 is fixed tangentially to the housing 1. A conical element 20 is fixed under the contact element to the housing 4. The partition 4 is provided with drain pipes 21. The bottom of the chamber 7 has overflow pipes 22. The lower part of the housing 1 is equipped with a pipe 23 for draining liquid with cleaning products.
Mass transfer apparatus operates as follows.
The source gas stream through the tangential inlet pipe 2 is fed into the lower part of the housing 1 and moves upward to the conical element 20. During its movement, the swirling gas stream, which also contains gaseous components that must be trapped, is in contact with the film of liquid flowing down the apparatus wall . In this case, dust particles thrown to the walls by centrifugal force
3.they are carried away by a film of liquid to the lower part of the apparatus and are withdrawn through the pipe 23. As the gas stream moves upward, its speed gradually increases due to the conical element 20. As the pipes 5 pass, the gas stream is twisted by spiral-shaped inserts 6, irrigated by a liquid sprayed in the vertical direction up and down through the surface 11 of the turns of the insert, then enters the chamber 7, where it abruptly loses its speed, further mixing and continuing phase exchange. Next, the gas-liquid mixture enters the upper part of the circuit of pipes, the outlet from which it is released. from liquid droplets and leaves the housing through the pipe 3. Separated, the liquid from the chamber 7 flows to the partition 4 through the tubes 22. Through the tubes 21, the liquid flows from the partition 4 to the wall of the housing .1 under contact element. Due to the fact that the irrigation fluid is supplied up and down along the perforated walls 11, a rotating flow picks up and swirls this dispersed fluid flow, therefore, the interfacial contact time is increased. When the walls of the pipes 5 are hollow, the partially spent liquid located on the baffle 4 is sucked in through the openings 14 into the cavity of the pipe wall 5 and is sprayed through the slotted openings 15 due to the ejection arising from the bleeding of the bleed fluid 16. This further increases . interfacial contact intensity. When the cones 17 are installed in the chamber 7, the rotating gas-liquid flow collides with the cone 17, abruptly changes its direction and, flowing around the cone, moves upward. Particles of liquid, along with trapped contaminants, due to inertial forces, settle on the inner surface of the cone and are pressed in the form of a film by a gas flow to the periphery, where they flow into the tray and then through the tube 19 are sent to the bottom of the chamber 7. In this case, as a result of intense interphase exchange Under the cones 17, dust and gas particles are additionally wetted and trapped, and at the same time, preliminary gas separation occurs, which reduces splashing through the pipe 3.
The technical and economic efficiency of the proposed apparatus compared to the prototype (AS No. 1304862) consists in increasing the degree of gas purification up to 15-20% as a result of intensification of interphase contact caused by the supply of irrigation fluid through the walls of the spiral insert up and down, which involves particles
жидкости во вращательное движение и снижает веро тность отбрасывани их на стенку контактной трубы.fluid in a rotational motion and reduces the likelihood of dropping them onto the wall of the contact tube.
The implementation of a single chamber for all pipes significantly increases its volume through the use of annulus, which also improves the conditions of interfacial contact; The installation of breaker cones in the chamber makes it possible to further increase interfacial contact and simultaneously carry out preliminary separation, which reduces splashing.
