Description
The invention relates to analytical instrumentation, and in particular to methods of selective analysis and can be used for the selective detection of hydrogen sulfide (HaS), in particular for detecting traces of living organisms under the rubble or underground
VJ VJKnown methods for detecting hydrogen sulfide (HaS) by colorimetric determination of hydrogen sulfide. The method is based on the absorption of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from air by a composite solution of sodium arsenide and ammonium carbonate. In the presence of hydrogen sulfide, ammonium sulfosol is formed, which, when an acid solution of AdMOS is added, transforms to silver sulfosol, which quickly decomposes to silver sulfide, which yields a solution of yellow brown color. The hydrogen sulfide content is determined colorimetrically on a standard scale. Sensitivity MetoVJ VJ

The maximum permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the air is 10 mg / m.
Общим недостатком колориметрического метода определени вл етс недоста точна чувствительность и больша погрешность за счет инерционности определени .A common disadvantage of the colorimetric determination method is a lack of sensitivity and a large error due to the inertia of the determination.
The closest in technical essence is a detection method based on the use of an intermediate chemical reaction. Using an intermediate chemical reaction, the measurement is reduced to comparing the thermal conductivity of the gas mixture before and after absorption or burning of the measured component.
A significant disadvantage of this method is the insufficient sensitivity and selectivity of the determination of HaS in air.
The aim of this invention is a highly sensitive selective analysis.
NZZ in the air and the elimination of these shortcomings.
The goal is achieved in that in a method for the selective analysis of a component in a gas mixture, namely, that the analyzed mixture is passed sequentially through two identical primary transducers and a reactor located between them, in which the analyzed component is converted into an active substance to which the primary transducers are sensitive and the value of the difference of the signal from the primary converters determines the content of the analyzed component in the gas mixture, characterized in that, in order to selectively about the determination of hydrogen sulfide in air, preliminary to the test mixture containing hydrogen sulfide with a predetermined lower limit of determination exceeding the sensitivity of the analysis, sulfur hexafluoride is added, the volume ratio of hydrogen sulfide and sulfur hexafluoride is found, in which a difference signal arises from the primary converters during analysis in sulfur hexafluoride is added to the flow of the analyzed mixture, in an amount not less than previously found, ionization is used as primary converters heats, and as a reactor, a thermal reactor heated to the decomposition temperature of sulfur hexafluoride.
Such a sequence of operations ensures the achievement of the goal by converting H2S, to which the primary converter is insensitive, into hydrogen fluoride (HP) and elemental sulfur (S), to which the converter is extremely sensitive.
SFe.As shown by the results of patent studies, previously in the methods of selective analysis of gas, the SFe stream was not added to the analyzed air, the intermediate reactor was not heated to 400 ± 10 ° C, and the primary transducers were not selected from the condition of selective sensitivity to HF and S, and insensitivity to SFe .
Это и определ ет существенные отличи предлагаемого способа селективного и высокочувствительного анализа HaS в воздухе .This determines the significant differences of the proposed method for the selective and highly sensitive analysis of HaS in air.
Действительно, при подаче анализируемого воздуха через первичные преобразователи , которые чувствительны к HF и S, и нечувствительны к SFe при нагревании реактора до 400 ± 10°С происходит реакци : SF6 + 3H2S 6HF + 4S (1)Indeed, when the analyzed air is supplied through primary transducers that are sensitive to HF and S and insensitive to SFe, when the reactor is heated to 400 ± 10 ° С, the reaction occurs: SF6 + 3H2S 6HF + 4S (1)
This reaction is extremely selective, since SFe is an exceptionally chemically inert substance, thermally stable up to 800 ° C.
The proposed analysis method is implemented using the device shown in the drawing.

When passing the analyzed air sequentially through the primary transducers, which are selected as three-electrode ionization chambers 1 and 2 and a chemical reactor 8, in which the temperature is maintained at 400 ± 10 ° C using a heater 9 and an additional stream of SFe, under the influence of radioactive sources 12 ions are formed that with

5 When bteS enters the stream of analyzed air, the ionization current of the three-electrode chamber 1 practically does not change, and the ionization current of the three-electrode chamber 2 changes in a certain range proportionally
Продукты реакции (1), взаимодейству с ионами в чувствительном объеме ионизационной каме- ры 2, измен ют величину ионизационного тока среднего электрода.concentration in the air stream, due to the fact that reaction (1) occurs when air passes through the reactor 8. The products of reaction (1), interacting with ions in the sensitive volume of ionization chamber 2, change the ionization current of the middle electrode.
Thus, for example, the sensitivity of the three-electrode chamber to HF and elemental S in air is at the volume level. In this case, the sensitivity to SFs in air is insignificant (probably due to the fact that the dipole moment of the SFe molecule is equal to zero).
2,Ionization of air using source 12 leads to the formation of carriers of positive and negative charges, mainly in the form of 02 and No. +, they form a current through the middle electrodes of chambers 1 and 2,
A significant contribution to the useful signal of the three-electrode ionization chamber is made by the ion-molecular recharging reaction:

Элементарна сера (S) также принимает участие в перезар дке с образованием комплексов, этим и объ сн етс высока чувствительность трехэлектродной ионизационной камеры к элементарной сере.moreover, this reaction leads to a significant increase in sensitivity due to the formation of HF (H20) n complexes in the presence of moisture in the air, where n depends on humidity and temperature. Elemental sulfur (S) also takes part in the recharging with the formation of complexes, which explains the high sensitivity of the three-electrode ionization chamber to elemental sulfur.
5 It should be noted that any of the known HF sensors can be used as a primary transducer, for example, aerosol-ionization ones, in which

The application of the proposed method of highly sensitive selective analysis of H2S in air will make a significant contribution to the problem of sanitary control of industrial premises and environmental protection.
