Description
Tubular heater
The utility model relates to electrothermics and can be used in various fields of technology, for example, in the manufacture of low-temperature electric heating elements used in refrigeration units for thawing frost and ice in pallets.
Н 05 В 3/48, 1999 г. A tubular electric heater is known that contains a metal shell, inside of which a heating element of carbon filaments and current leads is installed through a layer of heat-insulating filler, while the heating element is made in the form of a chain with multilayer continuously connected links in an elastically deformed state with continuously point-like electrical connections ( RF patent No. 1815808, CL N 05 3/48, 1999 prototype).
The disadvantages of the known tubular heater include low-tech manufacturing of both the electric heater itself and the heating element. In addition, there is a likelihood of the heating element shorting to the housing when the heater is given the desired shape, especially at small bending radii.
The technical task of the proposed utility model is to increase the manufacturability of manufacturing, eliminating the likelihood of a heating element shorting to the housing and increasing durability.
The solution to the problem is due to the fact that the tubular electric heater containing a metal shell, inside which a heating element made of carbon fiber is installed, according to the proposal, further comprises an insulated supply wire made integrally with the metal shell and the heating element, and the heating element is made of a continuous carbon filament linear with a density of at least 100 tex, having a continuous polymer electrical insulation with a thickness of at least 0.3 mm, is located inside the metal shell in free state. The tubular electric heater can be made with one-sided or two-sided connection of the supply wires, with a one-sided connection, the heating element inside the metal shell is located in the form of a loop. The ends of the heating element are connected to the supply wire by means of a copper, tinned thin-walled tube, followed by crimping. The connection portions of the ends of the heating element with the supply wires are hermetically insulated, and the exit points of the insulated sections from the metal shell are re-hermetically isolated.
