Машина для трелевки в составе энергетического модуля 1 и технологического модуля с лебедкой 6 заезжает по магистральному волоку к очередной пасеке с поваленными деревьями (хлыстами) или с небольшими пачками, приготовленными валочно-пакетирующей машиной. Оператор выбирает дерево-мачту у края магистрального волока и, управляя гидроцилиндрами 11 и лапами 12, зажимает дерево в нижней его части, а управляя манипулятором 2, устанавливает отклоняющий блок 3 на дереве-мачте, через который пропущен грузонесущий канат 7, который растаскивается по пасечному волоку до места формирования пачки деревьев (хлыстов).
