Abstract

The invention herewith described refers to the single-layer transparent protective element that provides concurrent, multispectral responses from the visible part of the spectrum, to the exciting electromagnetic radiation in the range between 200 and 1500 nm. The invention also relates to the process for obtaining the protective coating in the form of suspension, which is by screen print, in one pass, applied to the protected products, which can be made of the paper or the synthetic materials. Thus applied, it makes a single-layer transparent protective element which due to its four optical features, fluorescence when excited by electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet range between 200 and 400nm and infrared range between 700 and 1500 nm, circular polarization feature and change of the colour of reflected light from its surface, when changing the viewing angle, it serves to confirm the authenticity and originality of the protected products on which is applied. The invention reduces the number of stages in the security printing and helps to prevent forgery and counterfeiting of protected products.
