Abstract
Veterinary etibacterial vaccine characterized in that it consists of equal parts per unit volume of corpuscular antigen and soluble antigen of the genera Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Salomella, Pseudomonas, Proteus, Providencia, Citrobacter, and Aerobacter, in the following percentages of genes: 30 ..... 35% Escherichia coli, 10 ... 16% Klebsiella, 15 ..... 20% Salmonella, 15 ... 20% Pseudomonas, 15 ... 20% Proteus possibly 0 ... 6% Providencia, Citrobacter and Aerobacter alone or associated, the final count of germs contained in the vaccine being about 21 billion per ml vaccine, determined on the Brown scale. The process for preparing the vaccine according to the claim characterized in that the strains are isolated and triple from organs of diseased animals such as the brain, liver, spleen, kidney, duodenum, ileum, bone marrow by known bacteriological methods, isolated strains are separately harvested on the glucose broth, incubate 18 ..... 24 h with aeration at 37 ° C and pH = 8.2 ..... 8.5 let the pH of the cultures tend to set at pH = 7 ... .7.2 after which the cultures are incubated on the thermostat for 60 hours, heat inactivate at 65 ... 70 ° C for 6 ... 8 hours, adding to each culture 0.8% of the chloride lice sicc with about 30-60 minutes before the inactivation stops, then the cultures are subjected to inactivation by ultraviolet irradiation with the usual glass for 8-10 hours and finally the suspensions treated with sodium mertiolate are mixed in the indicated proportions.
