Também a patente EP0884008 descreve um aparelho para aplicação de tinta em madeixas individuais, com uma forma também aproximadamente de pinça, onde uma parte é munida de uma estrutura em forma de pente ou de escova e a outra parte munida de um suporte, que compreende dois ressaltos que possuem um rebaixo intermédio, plano, operando estas duas partes em conjunto. Como se verifica na fig. 1, o dispositivo 1 é constituído por um corpo arqueado 40, que pode ser, p. ex., tubo plástico. O corpo 40 apresenta duas extremidades frontais 5 e 30, respectivamente, o corpo é dobrado a cerca de 180°. A primeira extremidade 5 dispõe de uma escova desmontável 10, que apresenta uma quantidade de filas de cerdas 12. Estas filas de cerdas são no centro da escova mais curtas do que as filas exteriores. A tinta é aplicada na escova 10 para alourar ou colorar a madeixa de cabelo do cliente. A escova 10 pode ser fixada à extremidade do dispositivo 40 por meio de fita gomada por exemplo, por pressão ou por outra forma semelhante. A outra extremidade 30 do dispositivo 40 apresenta um suporte 20 desmontável, que é fixado como no primeiro caso por um modo de fixação 15, neste caso por meio de elementos próprios 35. O suporte 20 possui no centro um rebaixo 80, que permite a fixação da madeixa escolhida e a recolha da tinta em excesso.
