Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention relates to a system for producing energy useful from the sea waves. The system consists of a turbine (1) with the axis of rotation arranged vertically, which absorbs part of the movement generated by the waves during their passage, whatever the movement of the water particles. This absorption is reflected in the rotation movement always in the same direction as the turbine (1). This is due to the circular shape of the turbine (1) and the shape, profile and arrangement of its blades. Each blade is composed of two fundamental parts, one rigid (2), and another flexible (3). The rigid part (2), composed of a certain symmetrical profile, is characterized by the multidirectional absorption of the fluidic action by converting it into motion (always in the same direction), also minimizing its own drag. The flexible part (3) of elastomeric (rubber) material is characterized by optimizing the conditions of adaptation between the action of the fluid and the torque demand imposed on the turbine by the electric generator, so that the fluctuation of the rotation values is very small and giving a greater yield between the energy provided by the waves and the mechanical energy produced. The turbine operates submerged under optimum conditions of profitability at a level below the mean sea level and which is imposed by the control system. This dimension is variable and is defined by the use of an algorithm introduced in the programming of the control PLCs, which is conjugated with the information collected from the sea state (type, wave characteristics and tidal variation). This operating quota is checked and adjusted automatically at predefined time intervals. The dimension variation also has the advantage of being able to park the turbine within an area where the action of the waves is less intense, in which area the existing disc brake systems (not shown) can completely immobilize the rotation of the turbine. The turbine (1) has the peculiarity of being able to operate continuously in whatever the sea state still due to the variation of dimension and that the more energetic it is presented the greater will be the distance of this towards the bottom always looking for the zone of greater comfort for better profitability and guarantee of operation. The turbine (1) operates at low speed and high torque, eliminating problems with structural imbalances and vibrations. The operation of the system will be done by self-control and / or remote control to meet the predefined levels of energy supply regularity, in order to optimize energy production and safeguard its structural integrity, also allowing the application of network management. The turbine 1 is coupled to a multi-tubular structure 10 and 11, which guarantees the operating conditions and is supported by the stationary tubular structure 4 through the supports 7. The stationary tubular structure 4 is also the bridge with the attachment assembly 9 which will ensure the connection to the seabed providing the required stability conditions and which will be adapted to the needs and characteristics of each location. The turbine (1) can also be coupled to a floating type system. The stationary tubular structure (4) will also serve as support for the electric generator (6) and all the organs that have to benefit from this type of support. The system is characterized in that the supports (7) are protected from contact with water. The entire control system (5) including the control mechanisms, electric generator (6) and gearbox (8) are located outside the reach of the water. The system has as its characteristic the versatility of being able to be implanted and raised allowing radical maintenance works in dry dock and also the total dismantling in end of life mitigating the ecological footprint.
In order to comply with the above characteristic, a specific set of floats is used, in which no large devices such as cranes are needed, substantially reducing costs and allowing all related processes to be speeded up, even in adverse sea states. The system is also characterized by the non-use of large quantities of hydraulic oil mitigating the risks of environmental contamination. The present invention as a whole has as a feature a simplified and low cost manufacturing system both in terms of the materials and forms used and in the processes, methods and procedures of manufacture and assembly from the use of standards already known in other applications marine metalomechanics. Resulting in an easy replication of sets enabling the formation of wave energy parks. The system further has the possibility and features to be able to couple a wind turbine (12) resulting in this way in a hybrid system.
