A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DIZ RESPEITO A UM PROCESSO DE CONVERSÃO DE ENERGIA TÉRMICA DA BIOMASSA EM ENERGIA ELÉCTRICA, EM QUE, APÓS A OBTENÇÃO DE GÁS DE SÍNTESE, SE PROCEDE ÀS SEGUINTES ETAPAS SUCESSIVAS: A) REMOÇÃO DE PARTÍCULAS A MONTANTE DO SISTEMA DE LIMPEZA DO GÁS PERMITINDO UMA CONCENTRAÇÃO NÃO SUPERIOR A 2 G/NM3; B) LAVAGEM DO GÁS DE SÍNTESE PARA ELIMINAR OS ALCATRÕES E O AMONÍACO; C) REMOÇÃO DE ÁGUA DO GÁS DE SÍNTESE ANTES DA SUA INJECÇÃO NO MOTOR; D) ATENUAÇÃO DE FLUTUAÇÕES DE PRESSÃO ANTES DO MOTOR, POR RECURSO A UM RESERVATÓRIO DE ARMAZENAGEM; E) INJECÇÃO DO GÁS OBTIDO NUM SISTEMA DE PRODUÇÃO DE ENERGIA ELÉCTRICA, CONSTITUÍDO POR PELO MENOS UM MOTOR A GÁS ACOPLADO A UM GERADOR ELÉCTRICO.
