Description

1 przedstawia urzadzenie wraz z szalupa w widoku z góry, fig. 2 — urzadzenie w przekroju poprzecz¬ nym wzdluz linii A—B na fig. 1, fig. 821193 82119 4 PLThe device for lowering the lifeboats into the water The subject of the invention is a device for lowering the lifeboats into the water. The device known to date for lowering the lifeboats into the water consists of a crane from the deck on which the lifeboat is suspended and a slide, placed on the water. The slide at the moment of launching the lifeboats is relatively dismissed. The slide can also be constructed in the form of two skates fastened with supports that slide down the ship's side. The disadvantage of the described device is that the slides have high friction on the side due to poor friction. Paint or rust coatings and, moreover, any unevenness on the side, such as rivets or overlapping plating plates, make it difficult for the lifeboat to descend to the water. Moreover, in most cases, the lifeboats, after being lowered from the cranes, are placed with their sides on the side of the ship and do not descend to the water even with a heel of 15 to 20 °. This objective was achieved by the location of two rails between the cranes, attached to the ship's side, on which slides placed on the sides of the lifeboats slide down and equipped with a running gear. The advantages of the device, according to the invention, are 10 15 20 15 ensuring an effective lowering of the lifeboat in the event of a ship sinking with its high sheer to one side, and thus increasing the safety of human life at sea. Moreover, the device is simple, cheap, and the way of its use does not require highly qualified maintenance, as well as the fact that it can be used for lifeboats already installed on ships. The subject of the invention is shown in the example of the implementation. in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the device with the lifeboat in top view, Fig. 2 - the device in a cross-section along the line A-B in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 - the device at the time of the boat going down on the ship's side and Fig. 4 - a lifeboat rolling on rollers along the side of a strongly tilted ship in a side view. The device shown in the drawing consists of cranes 1 with decks 2 on which a lifeboat is suspended 3. On the side of a lifeboat 3 placed there are slides 4 with rollers 5 attached to them. The side of the ship 6 is equipped with slide rails 7, on which the lifeboat 3 rests on rollers 5. When the deck 2 is lowered, the lifeboat 3, the force of gravity , eat it drives the rollers 5 on the slide rails 7 to the ship's side 6 and to the water. As soon as the lifeboat 3 is launched, slides 4 are removed or discarded. 821193 82119 4 PL
