Abstract

The first subject of the application is a sachet ethylene absorber with a biomass torrefied bed, characterized by the fact that it contains a biochar insert obtained in the process of anaerobic pyrolysis from wheat straw, the process including preparation of lignocellulosic raw material for torrefaction, torrefaction of the raw material, placing the torrefied raw material in the sachet, characterized by in that in stage a) the dry raw material is crushed to fractions no larger than 10 mm and then subjected in stage b) torrefaction at a temperature from 220°C to 320°C and for a time from 45 min to 75 min in an inert flow atmosphere gas, amounting to 10 l/min, in step the product from step b) is crushed to a fraction no larger than 1 mm and the torrefied raw material is placed in an amount of 5 g in a cellulose sachet, where the carbon content in the torrefied raw material is from 40% of the product weight to 60% of the product weight, preferably from 47% to 60% of the product weight, with the weight of the insert in the sachet being 5 g. The application also covers the use of a sachet ethylene absorber.
