Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób odzysku cynku i stopu żelaza z pyłów hutniczych w szczególności z mieszaniny pyłów stalowniczych i innych pyłów z hutnictwa żelaza i stali. The subject of the invention is a method for the recovery of zinc and iron alloy from metallurgical dust, in particular from a mixture of steel dust and other dust from the iron and steel industry. The method of recovering zinc and iron alloy from metallurgical dust is characterized by the fact that a mixture of steel dust and other dust from the iron and steel industry with zinc content ranging from 2 to 40% and iron from 10 to 65% is subjected to the granulation process with the addition of a reducer at using a granulator, until a homogeneous material is obtained, the amount of added reducer is within the range from 7% to 25% of the mass of metallurgical dust and depends directly proportional to the amount of zinc and iron oxides, then the prepared material is directed to the electric arc-resistance furnace in an integrated metallurgical unit, where the prepared granulate is melted in a continuous or semi-continuous process at a temperature in the range of 1350 - 1600 ° C, during which the process of zinc and iron oxides reduction takes place and the precipitated zinc gas is stripped and oxidized in the air stream, gas phase dedusting is a two-stage process and the gases pass through the coal first pre-dedusting, where coarser dust fractions are collected and returned to the electric furnace, then, in the further part of the dedusting system, the furnace gases are cooled down to a temperature below 200 ° C and directed to bag filters to capture and recover zinc oxide in the form of fine the dust, and the iron alloy and waste slag formed in the electric furnace are tapped from the furnace, while the iron alloy containing an increased carbon content is in an integrated system directed to the induction or arc furnace, where it is modified by removing excess carbon, sulfur, phosphorus and adding steel scrap and / or alloying additives to obtain commercial alloys.
