Abstract

The adaptive verticalizer system supporting the process of rehabilitation of the disabled, using the harness containing system includes a fastening belt (4), which is connected to the motor (3) of the lifting system by means of belts rolled by the motor on the drums, stand's table (7) and control system (2) connected to sensors (1) measuring the muscle tension of the upright patient, which stimulates additional muscle tension enabling the patient's body to be lifted. The control system (2) collects information about muscle tension and controls the process of muscle stimulation and the work of the engine of the system. The control signal to the lifting system can come from the area of both the lower limbs and upper limbs, thus using the signals from the sensors (1) attached to a healthy limb e.g. to the wrist to control the stimulation of the leg muscles.
