Porównując modele oblicza się odległości pomiędzy powierzchniami obu modeli w wybranych punktach (5), a jeśli wyznaczone odległości przekraczają zdefiniowane wartości graniczne, interpretuje się je jako obszary niedoczyszczone (6).The subject of the invention is a method of detecting the imperfections of iron castings, the essence of which is to compare (5) correctly oriented (4) relative spatial models of the casting mold (1) reduced according to a scale factor taking into account the foundry shrinkage (2) and the casting (3). Comparing models, the distances between the surfaces of both models are calculated at selected points (5), and if the determined distances exceed the defined limit values, they are interpreted as unpurified areas (6).
