Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest skład kompozycji polimerowej do wytwarzania mikrostrukturalnych włókien światłowodowych zawierający: monomer w postaci metakrylanu metylu, inicjator polimeryzacji w postaci nadtlenku benzoilu oraz moderator długości łańcucha w postaci kwasu tioglikolowego. Wynalazek dotyczy również sposobu wytwarzania mikrostrukturalnych włókien światłowodowych na bazie kompozycji polimerowej oraz zastosowania kompozycji polimerowej do wytwarzania mikrostrukturalnych włókien światłowodowych.The present invention relates to a composition of a polymer composition for the production of microstructured optical fibers comprising: a monomer in the form of methyl methacrylate, a polymerization initiator in the form of benzoyl peroxide and a chain length moderator in the form of thioglycolic acid. The invention also relates to a method of producing microstructural optical fibers based on a polymer composition and the use of a polymer composition for the production of microstructural optical fibers.
