Abstract

Sposób biologicznego oczyszczania ścieków, w którym wykorzystuje się reaktor biologiczny, zawierający połączone ze sobą kolejno strefy: beztlenową (B), anoksyczną (A) oraz tlenową (T), przy czym ścieki surowe doprowadza się do strefy beztlenowej znajdującej się na początku wymienionej sekwencji stref reaktora lub w części albo całości do strefy ją poprzedzającej. Następnie przechodzą one do strefy anoksycznej (A) i w końcu tlenowej (T), po czym w procesie recyrkulacji wewnętrznej część zawartości strefy tlenowej (T) zawraca się do strefy anoksycznej (A), a reszta ścieków ze strefy tlenowej (T) kieruje się wraz z osadem bezpośrednio lub poprzez dodatkowe strefy do osadnika wtórnego, gdzie następuje oddzielenie ścieków oczyszczonych od osadu, który sedymentuje na dno osadnika wtórnego. Poza tym ścieki oczyszczone oraz nadmiar osadu, znajdującego się na dnie osadnika wtórnego, odprowadza się poza osadnik wtórny, natomiast pozostały osad gromadzący się w osadniku wtórnym podaje się do strefy beztlenowej (B) bezpośrednio lub za pośrednictwem strefy anoksycznej (A) w procesie recyrkulacji zewnętrznej. W sposobie tym pomiędzy strefą anoksyczną (A), a strefą tlenową (T) utrzymuje się strefę średniotlenową (S), w której czas przebywania ścieków dobiera się od 2,0 do 8,0 godzin, a stężenie tlenu utrzymuje się w granicach od 0,6 do 1,3 mg O2/litr.
