Abstract

Each of the four longitudinal outer surfaces (1,2,3,4) is at right angles to the adjacent longitudinal surface. The longitudinal surface forming the tread surface (2) has outward-protruding parts profiled to prevent slipping, in the form of rows of knobs (5) between which are cavities. The rows (6-10) are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the ladder-rungs.
