Description
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób otrzymywania stopniowanych odkuwek drążonych, zwłaszcza odkuwek drążonych osi kolejowych z półwyrobów walcowanych w walcarkach skośnych. The subject of the invention is a method for obtaining stepped hollow forgings, especially hollow forgings of railway axles, from semi-finished products rolled in skew rolling mills.
So far, a number of methods are known and used for producing stepped axle and shaft forgings, including solid and hollow railway axles, which, due to the large dimensions of the shaped semi-finished products, are made using free and semi-free forging methods. The processes of forging heavy forgings in the shape of stepped shafts and axles are described in detail in the book Wasiunyk W. "Die forging" National Scientific Publishing House, Warsaw 1987. The axle forging processes presented in the book consist of several operations, such as: upsetting, elongation, offsetting, cutting off technological allowances, and in the case of hollow axles, there is also the operation of punching holes in the input. The processes are carried out on hydraulic forging presses using inputs in the form of ingots. Despite the high versatility and simple design of the tools, forging stepped axles for the railway industry involves a lot of labor and large material losses.
Obecnie nie spotyka się tego typu procesów, które umożliwiałyby walcowanie odkuwek o średnicach powyżej 100 mm i długościach przekraczających 1000 mm.Cross-wedge rolling processes for stepped axle and shaft forgings are also known. The most common methods of cross-wedge rolling of forgings include rolling using flat tools that move in opposite directions during the process and rolling using wedge-shaped cylindrical tools rotating in the same direction. The processes of cross-wedge rolling of forgings are described in detail in the monograph by Pater Z. entitled "Cross-wedge rolling", Wydawnictwo Politechniki Lublinskiej, Lublin 2009. A characteristic feature of forgings shaped in cross-wedge rolling processes is their axial symmetry and axis straightness. The limitation of the use of WPK forgings for stepped axles and shafts is their size. Currently, there are no such processes that would enable rolling forgings with diameters exceeding 100 mm and lengths exceeding 1000 mm.
Wymaga jednak stosowania złożonych konstrukcyjnie maszyn i urządzeń.The processes of forging hollow forgings of stepped axles and shafts on cutting machines are also known and used. The forging processes on forging machines are described in the monograph by Tomczak J. entitled "study of the processes of rotary crimping of hollow forgings", Wydawnictwo Politechniki Lublinskiej, Lublin 2016. The forging of hollow forgings on forging machines is carried out on a mandrel as a result of the cyclic impact of the beaters on the material, which is rotated and moved by the impact zone of the tools - beaters. This technology is characterized by high efficiency and the ability to forge forgings of various shapes. However, it requires the use of structurally complex machines and devices.
Celem wynalazku jest wytwarzanie stopniowanych odkuwek drążonych z półwyrobów drążonych, wykonanych w walcarkach skośnych. The purpose of the invention is to produce stepped hollow forgings from hollow semi-finished products made in inclined rolling mills.
The essence of the method for obtaining stepped hollow forgings, especially hollow railway axle forgings, according to the invention is that a semi-finished product in the shape of a multi-stage hollow shaft with an initial length smaller than the length of the hollow railway axle forging, having extreme cylindrical steps of the same diameter, followed by conical steps. , connected to intermediate cylindrical stages of the same diameters, and in the central part of the semi-finished product there is a central stage with a diameter smaller than the diameter of the intermediate cylindrical stages, is heated to a temperature ranging from 1000°C to 1280°C, and then the heated semi-finished product is fed to working space of the device for forming the extreme steps and straightening, and the semi-finished product is placed between three combined tools, which consist of two stepped rollers located at the extreme ends of the shafts and rollers with cylindrical surfaces located in the middle parts of the shafts, then the combined tools are rotated in the same direction and at the same speed, and at the same time, the combined tools are set in radial motion with equal speeds towards the axis of the semi-finished product, and pressure is exerted on the two extreme cylindrical stages of the semi-finished product and on the two conical stages of the semi-finished product with the cylindrical surfaces of the stepped cylinders , and the semi-finished product is set into rotation in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the stepped rolls and the steps are formed at the extreme ends of the forging, then the translational movement of the combined tools is turned off and the rotational movement of the combined tools is left and the surfaces of the extreme stages of the forging are calibrated, at the same time pressure is applied to the surface of the central stage in the central part of the central stage with rollers with cylindrical surfaces and the forging is straightened during rotational movement.
An advantageous effect of the invention is that it allows rolling multi-stage hollow forges into the shape of stepped axles and shafts, such as railway axles, while shaping the hole surface using a mandrel. Another advantageous effect of the invention is the possibility of rolling hollow forgings with cylindrical steps. During rolling, the material flows plastically in the radial direction, increasing the wall thickness, which improves the strength parameters of the rolled steps. The method allows for simultaneous shaping of the extreme degrees of forgings combined with straightening, which significantly improves the quality of the produced axle forgings. During rolling, the tools deform the material gradually, thanks to which the pressure forces of the tools are several times smaller compared to the processes of forging or cross-wedge rolling.

Następnie wyłączono ruch postępowy zespolonych narzędzi 2a, 2b i 2c, a pozostawiono ruch obrotowy zespolonych narzędzi 2a, 2b i 2c i skalibrowano powierzchnie skrajnych stopni 7a, 7b, 7c i 7d odkuwki 7. Jednocześnie wywierano nacisk na powierzchnię centralnego stopnia 7e w środkowej części centralnego stopnia 7e rolkami o walcowych powierzchniach 6a, 6b i 6c i wyprostowano odkuwkę 7 podczas ruchu obrotowego. W wyniku czego otrzymano drążoną odkuwkę osi kolejowej z półwyrobu drążonego. The method of obtaining stepped hollow forgings, especially hollow railway axle forgings, was to make the blank 1 in the shape of a multi-stage hollow shaft with an initial length L1, which was 2200 mm and smaller than the length L2, which was 2400 mm of the hollow railway axle forging 7. Semi-finished product 1 it had extreme cylindrical stages 1a and 1e with the same diameter dl, which was 140 mm, behind which there were conical stages 1b and 1d, 20 connected to intermediate cylindrical stages 1f and 1g with equal diameters dl, which were equal to 220 mm, and in part in the middle of the blank 1, there was a central step 1c with a diameter d2 of 180 mm, which was smaller than the diameter of the intermediate cylindrical steps 1f and 1g. The blank 1 was heated in an induction heater to a temperature of 1150°C. Then, the heated workpiece 1 was transferred using an overhead crane to the device for shaping the extreme steps and straightening, where the heated workpiece 1 was fed into the working space of the device for shaping the extreme steps and straightening, and the workpiece 1 was placed between three combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c, which consisted of from two stepped rollers 3a, 3b, which were located at the extreme ends of the shafts 5a, 5b and 5c, and rollers with cylindrical surfaces 6a, 6b and 6c, which were located in the middle parts of the shafts 5a, 5b and 5c. Then, the combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c were set in rotation in the same direction and at the same speed n1, which was 15 rpm, and at the same time, the combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c were set in radial movement with the same speeds Vr1, which were 5 mm. /s towards the axis of the semi-finished product 1. As a result of the radial displacement of the combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c, pressure was exerted on the two extreme cylindrical stages 1a and 1e of the semi-finished product 1 and on the two conical stages 1b and 1d of the semi-finished product 1 on the cylindrical surfaces 4a, 4b and 4c of the stepped cylinders 3a , 3b, causing the semi-finished product 1 to rotate in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the stepped rolls 3a, 3b at a speed n2, which was 60 rpm, and steps 7a, 7b, 7c and 7d were formed at the extreme ends of the forging 7. The length L2 forgings 7 increased to 2400 mm, and the diameters d1 of the shaped external steps 7a and 7 were 140 mm, the diameters d3 of subsequent intermediate steps 7b were 170 mm, the diameters d4 of steps 7c were 200 mm, the diameters d5 of steps 7d were 220 mm, and the diameter d2 central stage 7e was 180 mm. Then, the translational movement of the combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c was turned off, the rotational movement of the combined tools 2a, 2b and 2c was left and the surfaces of the extreme stages 7a, 7b, 7c and 7d of forging 7 were calibrated. At the same time, pressure was exerted on the surface of the central stage 7e in the central part of the central stage 7e with rollers with cylindrical surfaces 6a, 6b and 6c and the forging 7 was straightened during rotation. As a result, a hollow forging of a railway axle was obtained from a hollow semi-finished product.
