Abstract

An awning has articulated arms that retract into the housing for the blind when the fabric is rolled up. An angular adjustment is made in the arm mounting to enable the arms to enter the housing at the correct height. This arm mounting consists of a bearing block for the arm fixing and seating therefor in the housing. This seating includes a tilt point and two bolts, wherein the one bolt is screwed tightly onto the tilt point and the other bolt (the adjuster bolt) determines the position of the bearing block with respect to the housing. The play at the adjusting bolt is taken up by a number of cup springs.
