Do znanych fungicydów naleza równiez silnie toksyczne sole me¬ tali alkalicznych fenoli i chlorofenoli. Zwiazki arsenu, fluoru, fenole i chlorofenole sa silnie toksyczne w stosunku do organizmów ludzi i zwierzat. Sa bardzo dobrymi impregnatami ale nie moga byó stosowane do impregnacji materialów wbudowanych wewnatrz pomieszczen prze¬ znaczonych na staly pobyt ludzi i zwierzat, magazynach zywnosci i pasz. Zwiazki fluoru ule¬ gaja równiez powolnej hydrolizie w drewnie, powodujac zanieczyszczenie srodowiska gazowym fluorowodorem i w konsekwencji spadek wlasnosci biochronnych. Ostatnio wskutek uznania zwiazków chromu za czynniki kancerogenne, sa one wycofywane ze skladu srodków impregnuja¬ cych, stosowanych w budownictwie, srodki ochrony drewna przed grzybami zawierajace aktywnie biologiczne pochodne fenoli, chlorofenoli, fluoru i arsenu sa równiez skuteczne w stosunku do grzybów workowców i grzybów niedoskonalych powodujacych tzw. plesniowy rozklad drewna.W wypadku narazenia materialu na dzialanie wody opadowej lub gruntowej trudno ulegaja2 H7 633 wyrriywaniu. Opis patentowy ZSRR nr 369 007 opisuje srodek ochrony drewna, w którym baze to¬ ksyczna stanowia sole miedzi i chromu. PLThe subject of the invention is a product for the protection of wood and wood-based materials, especially hardboards. The invention will find application in the material industry and in "construction. The use of inorganic compounds in wood preservatives is known. * Thus, the German patent description No. 2 203 071 mentions sodium and potassium dichromate, copper sulphate, zinc sulphate, acid among the components of fungicides for protecting wood. boric and other wood preservatives called Wolmanit contain compounds of chromium, copper and boron or chromium, fluorine and arsenic. Known fungicides also include highly toxic alkali metal salts of phenols and chlorophenols. Arsenic, fluorine, phenols and chlorophenols are highly toxic compounds. toxic to human and animal organisms, they are very good impregnants, but they cannot be used to impregnate materials built inside rooms intended for permanent stay of people and animals, food and feed storage facilities. Fluorine compounds also slow hydrolysis in wood, causing pollution of the environment with gaseous hydrogen fluoride and as a consequence, a decrease in bioprotective properties. Recently, as a result of the recognition of chromium compounds as carcinogenic factors, they are withdrawn from the composition of impregnating agents used in construction, wood protection agents against fungi containing actively biological derivatives of phenols, chlorophenols, fluorine and arsenic are also effective against saccharides and imperfect fungi. causing the so-called mold decomposition of wood. In case of exposure of the material to the action of rainwater or groundwater, it is difficult to break out. USSR Patent No. 369,007 describes a wood preservative in which the toxic base is copper and chromium salts. The addition of 2% of these citric acid compounds to the salt mixture was still difficult to remove in the preparation. A preservative for wood and wood-based materials, especially fibreboards, according to the invention consists of 35-50 parts by weight of copper sulphate, 15-25 parts by weight of zinc sulphate or sodium phosphate, 25 - 35 parts by weight of boric acid or sodium perborate, and 2 - 6 parts by weight of benzoic acid or salicylic acid. In this composition, these compounds have not been used as wood protection measures so far. Thanks to the introduction of these components in the right proportion, a product is obtained with high toxicity to wood-destroying organisms and unexpectedly difficult washability from the impregnated material. The agent according to the invention is used in the form of an aqueous solution with a concentration of 5 - 15% by weight. • The agent according to the invention can be used in rooms intended for permanent stay of people, because it does not contain components toxic to heat-resistant organisms, the agent according to the invention dissolves well in water, it is odorless, it is characterized by deep penetration into the wood in an air-dry and moist state. It causes 100% inhibition of fungal species causing mildew decomposition of wood at a concentration in the substrate from 0.005 to 0.01%. At the same time, it is slightly harmful to people during use, and especially during the operation of impregnated materials. Wood and wood-based materials, such as fibreboards, chipboards and sandboards, protected with this agent are resistant to brown, white and gray (moldy) and bacterial decomposition of the material. The agent according to the invention is highly toxic to Basidiomycetes as well as Ascomycetes and Deuteromycetes causing molting. It is also active against bacteria and insects. A large amount of organic acid present inside, along with metal salts, causes the agent to fixate in wood after impregnation. Due to the introduction of benzoic acid or salicylic acid to the mixture of copper, boron and zinc compounds or phosphorus, the agent obtained high toxicity towards microorganisms, difficult leachability and low harmfulness to humans and animals. The following embodiment examples illustrate the composition according to the invention. Example 1 Cupric sulfate 35 parts by weight zinc sulfate 25 parts by weight boric acid 35 parts by weight benzoic acid 5 parts by weight Example II. Cupric sulphate 50 parts by weight Sodium phosphate 20 parts by weight Sodium perborate 28 parts by weight Salicylic acid 2 parts by weight The ingredients are crushed, mixed and prepared into a water solution of the required concentration.Saturated softwood, fibreboard or chipboard with a solution of ^ 0% by weight. The fungicidal value of the agent when using the test fungus Paecilomycetes variotti was 1.4 - 2.2 kg of the agent per No. 1 of wood or porous fibreboards. Patent claim A product for the protection of wood and wood-based materials, especially fibreboards, characterized by the fact that it consists of 35 to 50 parts by weight of copper sulphate, 15 to 25 parts by weight of zinc sulphate or sodium phosphate, 25 to 35 parts by weight of boric acid or sodium perborate, and 2 to 6 parts by weight of benzoic acid or salicylic acid.
