Description

Sa one zbyt miekkie i w czasie pracy sa wciskane w szczeline miedzy powierzchnie komory dlawnicowej i dlawika i ulegaja zniszczeniu w krótkim czasie.Sposób wytwarzania ruchowych pierscieni uszczelniajacych wedlug wynalazku eliminuje wymienione wyzej wady. Pracownia Poligraficzna UP PRL. Naklad 100 egz Cena 130 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of manufacturing movable sealing rings from plaited packings impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene, resistant to high pressure up to 25 MPa. A known method of producing movable sealing rings consists in the fact that in the first step, a sealant is produced by braiding the yarn on a knitting machine, simultaneously impregnating it. As impregnation, either the water dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene alone or with the addition of mineral oils, most often paraffin oil, is used. In the second stage, the sealant is cut into appropriate sections and pressed in a mold on sealing rings of the required dimensions. Their density is 1100-1200 kg / m3 for organic fibers and 1500-1700 kg / m3 for inorganic fibers. Sealing rings formed from the above-mentioned sealants have their drawbacks. Since the sealant, which is impregnated with the PTFE dispersion itself, the seals harden quickly during operation, lose their elasticity and the impregnation, after drying, crumbles, causing the system to leak, while the rings made of sealant containing the impregnated mineral oils work well, are very durable and they remain flexible until destruction. However, they are not suitable for working at high pressures of 25 MPa. They are too soft and during operation they are pressed into the gap between the surfaces of the stuffing box and the gland and are destroyed in a short time. The method of producing movable sealing rings according to the invention eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages. It involves the use of a different composition and method of impregnating the impregnation as well as different conditions for pressing the rings.2 142 058 The emulsifier in the form of a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic ethoxylated alcohols is introduced into the PTFE dispersion with a concentration of 54-5696 in the amount of 70-85% by weight with intensive stirring in an amount of 1-8% by weight, rubber latex is added in an amount of 2-15% by weight, mineral oil in an amount of 0-10% by weight, and then a solid lubricant such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide or talc in an amount of 2-20% by weight The impregnation prepared in this way is impregnated on the front while weaving. After the sealant is dry to the moisture content of the sealant not exceeding 1%, it is cut into sections, coated on the surface with graphite, molybdenum disulphide or talcum and pressed in a form on the rings of the required dimensions under such pressure that their density is not less than 1500 kg / m-5 for organic fibers and 2000 kg / no. for inorganic fibers. Movable sealing rings according to the invention are characterized by a very high pressure resistance up to 25 MPa and are intended mainly for sealing vortex and reciprocating pumps * Braided packing made according to of the invention as an intermediate product for the production of seals, it can be used directly for sealing gland pumps, but its pressure resistance in this form is lower than that of the formed rings and is not more than 10 MPa. Example I. For water dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene with a concentration of 54% in the amount 82% by weight is introduced with 3% by weight of emu with vigorous agitation an aggregator consisting of a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic alcohol ethoxylates, 5% by weight of styrene-butadiene rubber latex and 10% by weight of graphite. The impregnation prepared in this way is permeated by the cotton front while braiding the packing with a square cross-section and dimensions of 10 x 10 mm. The sealant is dried to a humidity of 1%, cut into sections and pressed in a mold on the rings under such pressure that their density is not less than 1500 kg / m3. Example II. 3% by weight of an emulsifier consisting of a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic alcohol ethoxylates, 7% by weight of styrene-butadiene rubber latex, 2% by weight of paraffin oil and 10% by weight of paraffin oil and 10% by weight of the emulsifier, which is a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic alcohol ethoxylates, is added to the aqueous dispersion of 54% by weight of 78% by weight. graphite. The impregnation prepared in this way permeates the asbestos front while braiding the packing with a square cross-section and dimensions of 12 x 12 mm. The sealant is dried to a humidity of 1%, cut into sections and pressed in a mold on the rings under such pressure that their density is not less than 2000 kg / m3. Patent claim A method of producing floating sealing rings from braided sealants impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene, consisting in impregnating the sealant during braiding, and then forming the rings in a mold under pressure, characterized in that when preparing the impregnation for polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion with a concentration of 54-56% in an amount of 70-85 parts by weight, the emulsifier in an amount of 1-8 parts by weight is introduced with intensive stirring , adds rubber latex in an amount of 2 to 15 parts by weight, mineral oil in an amount of 0-10 parts by weight, and then a solid lubricant such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide or talcum in an amount of 2-20 parts by weight, and the impregnated sealant is dried to the humidity 1%, then cut into sections and pressed in the molds with enough pressure to make it dense of formed rings was not less than 1300 kg / number for organic fibers and 1650 kg / number for inorganic fibers.
