Abstract

A learning system and a method of controlling a learning system capable of suggesting a learning target suitable for each student is provided. A learning system 10 for performing a learning process on a registered student, including, a display control means 110a that controls display of pages used in the learning process, a learning performing means 110b that performs learning on the student, a learning memory means 111b1 that stores the learning record by the learning performing means 110b for each student, a target generation means 110c that generates a plurality of challenging targets for the student to challenge based on the learning record of the student, wherein the display control means 110a displays the generated plurality of challenging targets in a selectable manner, and wherein the learning performing means 110b performs learning, on the student who selected the challenging target, in accordance with the selected challenging target.
