Abstract

The present invention relates to a steel box girder continuous bridge formed by continuously connecting and installing a steel box girder constituted by an upper flange, a lower flange provided to be spaced apart from the upper flange, and a pair of trusses connecting the upper flange and the lower flange on the tops of an abutment and a pier, including an irregular span constituted by a short span L1 and a long span L2 in which the lengths of both spans of a pier point part are different from each other, wherein in the upper flange of the pier point part, a (0.1 to 0.2) L2/2 section in the direction of a short span and a (0.1 to 0.2) L1/2 section in the direction of a long span from the center of the pier point part are configured by a closed cross section, the upper flanges of a negative moment section and a positive moment section other than the section configured as the closed cross section is configured by an opened cross section in which the center is opened, the upper flange configured by the opened cross section includes a truss-shaped horizontal spacing, and in the lower flange of the pier point part, high-strength concrete is filled and synchronized in a (0.2 to 0.4) L2/2 section in the direction of the short span and a (0.2 to 0.4) L1/2 section in the direction of the long span from the center of the pier point part. According to the present invention, the amount of expensive steel required is remarkably reduced and corrosion of concrete and steel is prevented to remarkably increase durability of a structure.
