Abstract

Provided are a chemical washing method and a chemical washing device for removing hematite. A washing liquid containing a rust removal agent, which is a chelating agent, a reducing agent, or a mixture of a chelating agent and a reducing agent, is fed, through a chemical liquid feed line (102), directly to an apparatus (10) to be washed having a member on which hematite is adhered. Chemical washing is performed by immersing at least the region to which the hematite is adhered in the washing solution and maintaining the oxidation-reduction potential of the washing liquid at the value at which hematite is eluted into the washing liquid, and as a result, the hematite is eluted from the member and removed.
