Abstract
The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a power supply method for dimming system and a dimming system, which are applied to the technical field of electronic equipment. The control unit in the dimming system may: acquire time-domain information of an electrical parameter of a load in the dimming system in multiple power supply cycles, where the electrical parameter is current or voltage; determine the type of the load in the dimming system according to the acquired time-domain information and a preset correspondence, where the preset correspondence includes time-domain characteristics corresponding to electrical parameters of various types of loads; and control a power-supplying mode of the load according to the determined type of the load, such that the dimming system supplies power to the load according to the corresponding power-supplying mode. As such, the specific type of a load can be determined according to the time-domain information of a practical electrical parameter of the load, and power can be supplied to the load in different modes according to the type of the load. Since it is relatively easy to acquire time-domain information of a practical electrical parameter of a load, the process for identifying the type of the load is relatively simple.
