Abstract

Caracterizado por establecer una barrera o cordon flotante de hielo mediante la emision sucesiva de gas frio desde una posicion predeterminada por debajo del nivel del mar a medida que una embarcacion de descarga del gas frio sigue una trayectoria circundante a la fuente de contaminacion o area contaminada, con lo cual el gas frio durante un ascenso desde la posicion de descarga cede sustancialmente su capacidad frigorifica a la masa de agua marina inmediatamente adyacente, provocando en consecuencia el congelamiento de la misma y la formacion del hielo necesario para establecer dicha barrera o cordon de hielo.
