Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para generar 1-metilciclopropeno (1-MCP) utilizando un sistema de control del flujo del gas portador mejorado. La invencion tambien se refiere al uso de un dispositivo generador de 1-MCP para inhibir la accion del etileno que acelera el proceso de maduracion de las plantas tales como frutos, flores, verduras y similares. Ademas, la invencion engloba un metodo para tratar y almacenar productos agricolas recolectados utilizando dicho dispositivo generador de 1-MCP.
