Abstract

Disclosed is a computer-implemented method for providing attributes of a candidate vehicle part using image recognition of a vehicle part on a user device. A target image (610) of the vehicle part is obtained from a camera system and image recognition is performed to identify the vehicle part in the target image (610). Image recognition is done by comparing the target image (610) with candidate images (640) to obtain one or more matching results. When the image recognition is being performed, one or more visual features (630) of the vehicle part are extracted from the target image (610) and compared with the candidate images (640). The one or more matching results are provided on a user interface of a user device, each matching result including an image of a candidate vehicle part and attributes of the candidate vehicle part.
