Abstract

Discloses polypeptides and fusion proteins derived from theraphosid spider venom, their use for pest control and nucleotides encoding the polypeptides. The isolated or purified proteinaceous molecule comprises or consists of an amino acid sequence corresponding to a mature peptide or mature peptide together with an amidation signal, wherein the amino acid sequence is selected from the group consisting of the amino acid sequences as disclosed in the specification.
