Disclosed are crystalline or amorphous forms of a lactic acid salt of 4-amino-5-fluoro-3-[6-(4-methylpiperzin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]-1H-quinolin-2-one (Formula I), and solvates and hydrates thereof. The compound of formula I is a protein kinase inhibitor and is useful in the treatment of cancer.
