Abstract

A heat exchanger 10 comprises a first line 11 and a second line 13 embedded in a solid block 15 of a material having a high thermal conductivity with the first line 11 in the form of a first helical coil defining a plurality of turns, and the second line 13 in the form of a second helical coil defining a plurality of turns and extending around the first coil. The angle between a plane defined by the turns of the second coil and a plane defined by the turns of the first coil is between 15 and 120 degrees.
