Abstract

A valve (100) for controlling gas flow for gas heating which allows a more gradual or smoother transition from high flow to low flow. Includes ability to control gas burners with multiple gas rings with single appliance valve, graduated or stepped control over gas flow, modular construction allowing valves to be ganged together forming a common inlet (104) manifold, partial or complete construction composite materials, and the ability to turn off in both directions but turn on only to high flow.
