Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for bleking av lignocelluloseholdig masse der et sluttbleketrinn innebærer behandling av for-bleket lignocelluloseholdig masse som har en lyshet med minst ett peroksymonosvovelsyresalt for å øke lysheten til den for-blekede lignocelluloseholdige massen og gi en mer fullstendig bleket masse. Den mer fullstendig blekede massen blir ikke utsatt for videre lysgjørings- eller delignifiserings- operasjoner i løpet av resten av fremgangsmåten etter sluttbleketrinnet. Behandlingen blir utført ved en innledende pH ved begynnelsen av sluttbleketrinnet i et område fra ca. 7 til ca. 12 og en endelig pH ved avslutning av nevnte sluttbleketrinn i et område fra ca. 3 til ca. 9.
