Abstract
Lineær akustisk antenne (10) med en rekke hydrofoner (H^ - H¿) og beregnet for nedføring av en undervannsbåt eller et overflatefartøy. Antennen (10) omfatter en hoveddel med N hydrofoner (Hj - H¿) med omnidirek- sjonell karakteristikk, og en tilleggsdel A med to hydrofoner AG, AD med retnings- karakteristikk som en kardioide. Tilleggs- delen A brukes for å utelukke tvetydighet ved retningsbestemmelse (høyre/venstre). I en beregningskrets (34) beregnes kohe- rens mellom de signaler som kommer inn til hoveddelen, og to signaler D(t) og G(t) for hhv en høyre og en venstre kanal, mottatt av tilleggsdelen A, og ved en sanunenlikning mellom koherensverdiene finner man den største og kan derved slutte seg til hvilken side en kilde (22) ligger på i forhold til antennens midtakse (12). In a calculation circuit (34), the coherence between the signals coming in to the body is calculated and two signals D (t) and G (t) for a right and a left channel, respectively, received by the additional part A, and by a zone equation between the coherence values are found to be the largest and can thereby conclude on which side a source (22) lies relative to the center axis of the antenna (12). Use especially for tow antennas.
