Abstract
Ved en strekkfast forbindelse for optiske kabler blir det skjøvet en metallhylse (4) inn på den avisolerte kabelenden, og denne metallhylsen er forsynt med flere langsgående slisser (8) som befinner seg i avstand fra hverandre. Gjennom disse langsgående slisser (8) føres armeringsfibrene (3) ut, og legges, i strukket form, på metallhylsen (4). En krympemuffe (7) som krympes på metallhylsen (4), fastholder armeringsfibrene (3) mot hylseoverfl aten (4). De optiske fibrene (2) blir ført i spiral langs den avisolerte lengden, idet de er lagt inn i slisser på distanseholdere (6) som er plassert på et sentral element (l).
