Den foreliggende oppfinnelse beskriver et sømløst stålrør til overhalingsstigerør omfattende, i vektprosent: karbon 0,23-0,29, mangan 0,45-0,65, silisium 0,15-0,35, krom 0,90-1,20, molybden 0,70-0,90, nikkel 0,20 maks, nitrogen 0,010 maks, bor 0,0010-0,0030, aluminium 0,010-0,045, svovel 0,005 maks, fosfor 0,015 maks, titan 0,005-0,030, niob 0,020-0,035, kopper 0,15 maks, arsen 0,020 maks, kalsium 0,0040 maks, tinn 0,020 maks, hydrogen 2,4 ppm maks, mens resten er jern og uunngåelige urenheter; bestående av en geometri hvor ender av røret har økt veggtykkelse og ytre diameter, med en flytegrense på minst 620 MPa (90 ksi) gjennom hele lengden av et rørlegeme og i rørender.
