Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører et skrog (1) for seilfartøy som muliggjør forbedrede vannglidingsytelser. Skroget (1) for et seilfartøy innbefatter en bunn (2) som har en bestemt profil. Bunnen (2) er kjennetegnet ved at den innbefatter en reling (3) utformet fra stavnen og til gattet, hvilken reling (3) er dannet av en flate aksiell såle (6) som forbinder to parallelle passasjer fra stavnen til gattet, av liknende bredde, av liknende dybde for vanninnløp ved gattutløpet, idet passasjene avledet fra sålen (6) har en tverrsnittsprofil på hver side av sålen (6) for å danne to V-formede skråplan (9, 10) og er avsluttet av to kvartsirkelbuer som videre er forlenget av to andre skrådeler (13, 14) som danner en annen V-form som er mindre avskrådd enn den første og som fører til øvre overhalinger (15, 16). Oppfinnelsen kan anvendes på båter.
