Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår fleksible rør for transportering av kryogenisk gass i flytende form. Røret er av kompositt form og omfatter et indre rør tilpasset for å motstå trykklaster og kryogeniske temperaturer, og ytre rør tilpasset for å motstå strekkaksial krefter, og et lag av isolasjonsmateriale (34) satt inn mellom de indre og ytre rør. Det indre rør er dannet ved en hul kropp (10) formet fra et spiralformet sammenlåst metallbånd (12), de innvendige og utvendige overflater av hvilke er fôret med en fluidtrykk-innesluttende kappe (32) av fullstendig fluorinert fluorplast. Det isolerende laget (34) virker for å opprettholde et temperaturdifferensial mellom de respektive rør. Tilstøtende partier av båndet (12) i kroppen (10) er bevegbare i forhold til hverandre for å tilveiebringe fleksibilitet for røret langs sin lengde.
