Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en cellestabel (batteri) med minst en elektrokjemisk celle arrangert mellom en første endeplate forbundet til en elektrisk skrubolt og en andre endeplate forbundet til en ytterligere elektrisk skrubolt, idet cellestabelen har et hus, anordninger for å tilveiebringe fast understøttelse av nevnte cellestabel til det nevnte hus og anordninger for å opprettholde en konstant belastning over nevnte cellestabel. Cellestabelen kan anvendes innenfor området av PEM brenselceller og PEM vannelektrolysatorceller.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cell stack (battery) having at least one electrochemical cell arranged between a first end plate connected to an electric screw bolt and a second end plate connected to a further electric screw bolt, the cell stack having a housing, means for providing fixed support for said cell stack. to said housing and means for maintaining a constant load over said cell stack. Said devices for maintaining a constant load comprise an elastic compression pad inserted into the space between said cell stack and said housing wall. The cell stack can be used in the field of PEM fuel cells and PEM water electrolyzer cells.
