Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse anordner en fremgangsmåte og en anordning for generering av én eller flere fysisk påviselige endringer i fysiske påvirkninger for å styre eller manipulere· en nedihullsinnretning. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse fanger opp eksisterende styresignaler til ulike styringsenheter på riggen og overlagrer en kodet kommando på disse eksisterende styresignaler. Styringsenhetene omfatter motordrivsystemer, strupeventilregulatorer, akustisk pulsgeneratorer, indikatorinjektorer og andre styringsenheter som brukes til å frembringe fysisk påviselige forandringer i riggmiljøet. Den kodede kommando som virker på eksisterende eller nye styringsenheter, frembringer en fysisk påviselig forandring i en fysisk parameter, for eksempel en forandring i boreslamtrykk, en forandring i borestrengens omdreiningshastighet, en forandring i trykket på borkronen, generering av en akustisk puls, eller en forandring i de karakteristiske egenskaper ved indikatorinjeksjonen.
