Abstract
En aluminiumlegering med høy fasthet og lav bråkjølingsfølsomhet inneholder 4,6 til 5,2 vekt% Zn, 2,6 til 3,0 vekt Mg, 0,1 til 0,2 vekt% Cu, 0,05 til 0,2 vekt% Zr, maks 0,05 vekt% Mn, maks 0,05 vekt% Cr, maks 0,15 vekt% Fe, maks 0,15 vekt% Si, maks 0,10 vekt% Ti og aluminium som rest med fremstillingsbetingede urenheter, enkeltvis maks 0,05 vekt%, samlet maksimalt 0,15 vekt%. En foretrukket metode for fremstilling av plater med en tykkelse på mer enn 300 mm for fremstilling av kunststoff-sprøytestøpeformer omfatter trinnene strengstøping av legeringen til barrer med en tykkelse på mer enn 300 mm; barrene oppvarmes ved en oppvarmingshastighet på maks 20(C/t mellom 170 og 410(C til en temperatur på mellom 470 og 490(C; barrene homogeniseres i en tidsperiode på 10 til 14 timer ved en temperatur på 470 til 490(C; barrene avkjøles med stillestående luft til en mellomtemperatur på mellom 400 og 410(C; barrene avkjøles med luft i bevegelse (forced air cooling) fra mellomtemperaturen på 400 til 410(C til en temperatur på mindre enn 100(C; avkjøling av barrene til romtemperatur, og kunstig aldring av barrene. De kunstige aldrede barrene kan anvendes som plater for fremstilling av kunststoff-sprøytestøpeformer.
