Abstract

Det omtales en katodeunderstøttet brenselcelle hvori katodeunderlaget omfatter en porøs del fremstilt av en legering inneholdende jern og krom og mer bestemt rustfritt stål. Anoden har en tykkelse på 1-50 (m og består foretrukket av nikkel/ nikkeloksid. Katoden består foretrukket av LSM-materiale. En slik elektrodeunderstøttet brenselcelle kan produseres ved å frembringe et metallisk underlag inneholdende minst jern eller krom ved hjelp av sintring, foretrukket ved å starte fra et pulver, med etterfølgende påføring dertil av en elektrode, elektrolytt og andre elektroder. Med denne fremgangsmåten tilføyes en katode til det metalliske underlaget og kombinasjonen som oppnås sintres ved en temperatur mellom 1 000 og 1200 OC.
