Abstract
172574-HJ 2005-03-23 Sammendrag Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer genetisk fremstilte metylotrofe gjærstammer inkludert Pichia, og spesielt Pichia pastoris, som er i stand til å produsere proteiner med redusert eller modifisert glykosylering. Fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av glykoproteiner med redusert og/eller modifisert glykosylering ved å benytte slike genetisk fremstilte stammer av Pichia blir også tilveiebrakt. Vektorer som omfatter kodende sekvenser for (-1,2-mannosidase I, glukosidase II, GlcNAc-transferase I og mannosidase II eller som omfatter OCH1-oppbrytende sekvens for transformering av metylotrof gjær, er omfattet av foreliggende oppfinnelse.
