Abstract
SAMMENDRAG Fremgangsmåte for å bestemme sondefeil i et loggeverktøy som omfatter en transversal gruppe, som innbefatter å fremskaffe en første måling ved å bruke den transversale gruppen mens loggeverktøyet er i en første høyde fra bakken i en valgt orientering; å fremskaffe en annen måling ved å bruke den transversale gruppen mens loggeverktøyet er i en annen høyde fra bakken i den valgte orienteringen; å utlede en differansemåling fra den første målingen og den andre målingen; å bestemme et bakgrunnssignal ved å bruke differansemålingen og en forutbestemt funksjon, hvor den forutbestemte funksjonen relaterer jordsignaler i et antall signaler fremskaffet ved den andre høyden til et antall differansesignaler mellom signaler fremskaffet ved den første høyden og den andre høyden ved et antall formasjonskonduktiviteter; og å bestemme sondefeilen ved å subtrahere bakgrunnssignaler fra den andre målingen.
