Abstract

Utstyr for støping av metall, spesielt aluminium valseblokk, innbefattende en støpeform (20) med en formvegg (1) med et varmebestandig, isolerende innløp eller "hot-top" (2) for tilførsel av flytende metall (3) og et utløp med kjøleinnretninger (4,11) for kjøling av metallet som skal støpes samt en bevegbar understøttelse (1 8). Hot-topen (2) er anordnet i en avstand fra støpeformens vegg (1), idet mellomrommet (6) som derved dannes er lukket oventil ved hjelp av en tildekning eller plate (7) slik at det er hovedsakelig gasstett, hvorved mellomrommet (6) er innrettet for tilførsel/uttak av en valgbar gass eller gassblanding under et bestemt trykk.
