Abstract

The system anchors pre-stressing steel bars in concrete, the bar being stressed after the concrete has set, having been secured in an anchor before pouring with the aid of conical wedges. Before the concrete is poured, an anchor plate(11) is placed in position having a round cylindrical bore for a pre-stressing bar or cable(5). A filler member(14) is inserted between plate and shuttering(2), and after setting this member is replaced by an anchor body with a taper bore, allowing the stressed bar to be secured in place.
