Abstract

A coupling organ for fastening and supporting a building element such as a roof light on a fixture, is formed by two strip-form sheet metal profiles. Each of these has on one long edge a bead, one of which can be pushed lengthways in into the other, and when pushed in, the one is enclosed by the other bead over an angle of >180 degrees and for pref. over an angle of 300-325 degrees C. One of the profiles pref. has means of fixing a window pane and pref. a pane of acrylate. System supersedes hook profiles for this purpose, with which the building element has to be at a fixed angle relatively to the support fitting. With the beaded profiles, the angle can be adjusted.
