Abstract

The inflatable inner tube with valve is for a bicycle wheel, and is in the form of a hollow hose (1) with two closed ends (2, 3), its length being such that when placed round a wheel the ends but together. The hose ends can be tapered, so that they overlap when fitted together, or can be chamfered, so that on overlapping they form a complete cylinder. The valve (4) can be situated at a short distance from one end.
