Abstract

The machine sticks together a pair of paper strips coiled in rolls, the latter turning in supports in a frame, while strip guide rollers move to and from each other to stick the strips together. Both guide rollers (8, 9) are mounted in a supporting member (5) moving to and fro in relation to the frame and having two deflector rollers (26, 27) for the strip (3), while a third one is mounted in the frame. Further rollers (16, 17, 22, 23) can be provided to guide the strips between the rolls (1, 2) and the guide rollers.
